As part of Vox Media’s executive team, Lauren is involved in setting company strategy and high-level decision making.  Vox Media’s legal issues are widely varied, from intellectual property to personnel issues, info security and data privacy to corporate governance, and from advertising law to corporate compliance.
 
Before joining Vox Media, Lauren spent just about 7 years in AOL’s Legal Department, where she led a team that managed wide-ranging intellectual property matters, complex technology deals, and various aspects of new media law. Prior to joining AOL, Lauren worked in-house at The Vanguard Group, where – among other things - she set up Vanguard's IP program.  Before moving in-house, Lauren practiced law in the field of Intellectual Property with Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, LLP.
 
Lauren is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School, where she won a writing award for her Law Review Comment on IP protection for computer graphic user interfaces, and of the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in political history, and concentrated on economics and marketing in The Wharton School.

Henry Goldstein serves as the first Chief Privacy Officer for CBS Corporation. He joined CBS an Intellectual Property and Privacy Counsel after previously serving in that position with CNET Networks, Inc. (now part of CBS Interactive). Prior to joining CNET Networks, managed digital licensing for Ziff Davis Publishing Company and participated in the launch of ZDNet, one of the first commercial websites. Henry has over twenty years experience in the interactive media business.
 
At CBS Interactive, Henry led a company-wide effort for its Privacy by Design program that incorporates privacy controls into the process of developing online products and services.  At CBS Corporation, he has responsibility for legal issues related to privacy, data security, technology, and information systems.
 
Henry is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He is also a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and a member of the Massachusetts and Washington DC Bars. Henry earned his J.D. from the George Washington University National Law Center, Washington DC and has a master’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY
